I heard that the NYC women tend to be more beautiful and dress better and that there are significantly more single women than single men. My career field is male dominated though. I’m looking to marry by 28/29 at the absolute latest. I’m 23 and Korean American, and I’m only really interested in East Asian and (maybe) Caucasian men for LTR.
Considering that many Asian-American women only date outside of their race and Americans in general think of AA males as not masculine or assertive, I am curious to know if this sort of 'subtle racism' and 'bamboo ceiling' does not exist outside the Anglosphere (Canada, Australia, New Zealand, USA, UK, Ireland).

I have spent some time living in Korea and can say that its pretty tough to get by if you aren't good at Korean. Many of the girls are very shy about their English. But if they speak it very well and/or have spent time in the Anglosphere, they are likely to go for white guys. However, despite what white guys love to say, most Korean girls actually prefer a Korean guy.

Besides dating, I'm not so sure I would say Asia is the best place for Asian-American guys because, in Korea at least, alot of the males seem to despise Korean-American guys out of jealousy because they have to waste time serving in the military. As a Korean-American, I also find it rather demoralizing that other Koreans seem unimpressed when I try to practice my Korean and realize I'm not great at it, even though I came here unable to speak it at all and have studied it alot since coming.
